居然沒有中文版的介紹，大家就自己練習一下英文吧

只能說我還滿幸運的，從這頻道第一支影片就開始追到現在

追了他快七年，中間因為covid-19疫情，頻道停止更新了兩年

就在兩個月前，John他又開始更新頻道啦!!!!! 為我們大家繼續獻上原始科技

在YouTube上面的原始科技頻道中，我只follow John，他還出了一本書

看他的影片會有一種療癒感，即便當成背景音，也很棒

除了強烈推薦以外，影片底下的留言也很適合閱讀

有些很好笑，有些專業的會來問問題

雖然John在現今上傳的54支影片裡 從來沒有講過任何一句話

到現在還沒有人知道John的聲音聽起來是什麼樣子!!!!!

今天特地寫這篇文章，是因為他昨天2022/5/6上傳的這支影片

從挖土、做模具、做磚瓦、燒磚瓦、自己調水泥，蓋牆做屋頂，

然而我看到他完工之後的小屋，第一個想法居然是：土地公廟？

真是抱歉，那房子蓋起來真的很像鄉下路邊會看到的土地公廟啊XDD

OK，但這不是重點，重點是下面有一則留言，我看完真的秒掉淚我不知道為什麼

這則留言的PO主也是有點名聲的YouTuber，我非常喜歡這則留言講的故事

來特別寫一篇，並且翻譯一下

In one of the Warhammer 40k science-fiction books there's a scene I've always liked. One of the characters is standing at the centre of a human space empire. Within the most important palace on Earth. And finds himself in a museum wing called "The Hall of Victories". Which is cherishing the accomplishments of human race in the distant space-faring future.

在一本名叫《戰鎚 40k》科幻小說中，有一個場景我一直很喜歡。其中一個角色站在人類太空帝國的中心。這中心是地球上最重要的殿堂。這個角色發現自己在一個名為“勝利廳”的博物館裡。珍藏的是人類在遙遠的航太未來所取得的成就。

It contains a variety of technological achievements. Some military, most scientific. Such as the first stable human cloning formula. The first Titan rover. The first faster-than-light navigation circuit, etc. But in the middle of the museum is the centrepiece. A display case containing several shards of dented clay. Forming the outline of some sort of bowl.

裡頭包含了多種技術成果。有軍事的，最科學的。比如第一個可以穩定複製人的配方。第一個泰坦探測車。第一個超光速導航電路等。但在博物館的中間，最吸引人的地方是一個展示櫃，裡面有幾塊凹陷的黏土碎片，這些碎片有著形成某種碗的輪廓。

Hundreds of thousands of years old. 

碎片有數十萬年的歷史。

The character expresses confusion at the placement. Pointing out that it's so simple a child could make it. But another character explains why it's so crucial. That without that bowl, all the other museum exhibits wouldn't exist.

這個角色表現出困惑，指著碎片表示這很簡單，一個孩子就能做到。但另一個角色解釋為什麼它如此重要。沒有那個碗，所有其他博物館的展品都不會存在。

That at some point in the unrecorded past, one of our primitive ancestors noticed that a type of mud hardened when left in the sun. And he or she decided that they were going to MAKE something. That our journey as a species had those tentative first steps!

在沒有留下記錄的過去的某個時刻，其中一個我們的原始祖先注意到一種泥巴在陽光下會變硬。他或她決定他們要「做」點什麼。我們作為一個物種的旅程邁出了試驗的第一步！

Primitive Technology feels like a celebration of those steps.
